Position: Operations Manager
Reporting to: Vice President of Operations
Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations of a Technology company. This includes managing Order processing, Inventory Control and Product Procurement. It also includes working with sales, marketing and product management to provide timely reporting as required.
Essential Job Functions/Expectations:
- Manage Order Entry from Telemarketing, Channel and Web Sales Teams
- Manage Inventory Control Systems
- Ability to work with a Multi-National OEM/ODM's to ensure quality and timely supply
- Ability to Manage multiple projects at the same time
- Experience with Intuit QuickBooks Application
- Fluent in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent grasp of Technology
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Operations role
- 2+ years of experience in a job in the technology market
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with salesforce.com or similar CRM platform
- Personal commitment to customer service and follow through
- Experience working in a decentralized, small start-up environment
- Fluent in Simple Chinese / Mandarin preferred
