Position: Webmaster

Reporting to: Vice President of Marketing

Summary

The Webmaster is responsible for the global website a Technology company. This includes managing existing websites as well as developing new features, maintaining site operations and maintenance of web content within on-line store.

Essential Job Functions/Expectations:

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance of a global website
  • Coordinate webhosting and domain management
  • Coordinate with Content Editors to ensure updated information is presented on website
  • Coordinate troubleshooting of technical problems
  • Coordinate and monitor the production of web implementation projects for business initiatives including the e-campaigns and related social media
  • Support the production and development of applications and visuals
  • Build strong relationships by working closely with various departments including Marketing and Production to ensure retail programs, events and product sales are supported online
  • Collaborates closely and partners with other disciplines/capabilities including Marketing and Information Technology Developers to define differentiating yet actionable strategies and assure that knowledge sharing is growing
  • Ensure the integrity of the online systems and information through implementation and maintenance of established system management practices, processes and controls
  • Keep current with the latest e-commerce trends and technology to keep site competitive in the online world

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience creating and managing web sites
  • Expert HTML, JavaScript, and CSS skills
  • Proficiency in ASP and ASP.NET
  • Hands on SQL experience
  • Basic knowledge of RSS, XML
  • Firm understanding of web standards
  • Experience with SEO
  • Experience with IIS administration
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with salesforce.com or similar CRM platform preferred
  • Personal commitment to customer service and follow through
  • Experience working in a decentralized, small start-up environment
  • Fluent in Simple Chinese / Mandarin preferred
